East View and Bastrop each put runners in scoring position on Friday, but East View Patriots Varsity capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 4-2 win at Regents Park. Bastrop out-hit East View seven to four, but Bastrop stranded five runners on base. The Patriots held off Bastrop , as Bastrop was unable to overcome a three-run third inning deficit. A 10-run explosion in the fourth inning hoisted East View to a 16-2 win in four innings over El Paso Bowie at Regents Field on Thursday.
