East View Can’t Hold Up Against Rouse

East View had trouble keeping up with Rouse in a 4-3 loss on Friday.

Rouse captured the lead in the first inning. Garza drove in one when he doubled in the first inning.

After East View scored one run in the top of the second, Rouse answered with one of their own. Rouse then answered when Tucker singled off of Aaron Parks, driving in one run.

Rouse took the lead for good with zero runs in the fifth inning.

Tucker earned the win for Rouse. He tossed three innings, allowing zero runs, zero hits, and striking out three. Cameron Nowell took the loss for East View P. He pitched one-third of an inning, surrendering one run, zero hits, and walking zero.

Parks started the game for East View . He pitched seven innings, allowing three runs, five hits, striking out ten, and walking one. Thomas started the game for Rouse. He tossed four and a third innings, giving up three runs, four hits, and striking out five.

Dalton Westbrook and Chad Williams each drove in one run to lead East View.
