East View Patriots Varsity Can’t Hold Up Against Laredo United

East View had trouble keeping up with Laredo United in a 6-5 loss on Friday.

Laredo United captured the lead in the first inning. With one out in the first inning #6 drove in one run when he singled.

East View evened things up at one in the bottom of the first inning. Ronnie Bailey drove in one when he singled in the first inning.

Laredo United took the lead for good with five runs in the third inning. In the third #14 tripled off of Cameron Nowell, driving in three runs and #16 singled off of Nowell, driving in one run.

East View scored three runs in the second inning. The big inning was thanks to a error.

#18 earned the win for Laredo United. He went three innings, giving up five runs, and five hits. #21 recorded the last nine outs to earn the save for Laredo United. Nowell took the loss for East View. He tossed two and a third innings, giving up five runs, six hits, and striking out one.

Chad Williams and Mason Tyndall each drove in two runs to lead East View East View Patriots Varsity. East View was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Juan Sanchez made the most plays with seven.

#20 went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Laredo United in hits.
