Kerrville Tivy Captures Lead Early To Defeat East View

East View fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 13-1 loss to Kerrville Tivy on Friday. Kerrville Tivy scored on a triple by Lacy in the first inning.

Kerrville Tivy captured the lead in the first inning. Lacy tripled on a 1-1 count in the first inning, scoring two runs.

Kerrville Tivy scored five runs in the fifth inning. The big inning for Kerrville Tivy came thanks to a groundout by Troxell, a double by Walla, a stolen base, and a double by Quals.

Stevenson earned the win for Kerrville Tivy. He went five innings, allowing one run, four hits, striking out six, and walking one. Ryan Bailey took the loss for East View. He pitched two innings, surrendering seven runs, eight hits, and striking out one.

Ian Garza, Mason Tyndall, Stefon Reyes, and Dalton Westbrook each collected one hit to lead East View .

Kerrville Tivy collected 16 hits. Lacy, Troxell, Stevenson, Quals, Barker, and Ford each collected multiple hits for Kerrville Tivy.
