Parks Throws Another Shutout As The Pats Beat Hutto

Aaron Parks didn’t allow a single run as The Patriots defeated Hutto 2-0 on Thursday.

Parks allowed just five hits and induced a groundout from Matt Villanueva to end the game. The pitching was strong on both sides. Aaron Parks struck out six, while Gage Boehm sat down six.
One bright spot for Hutto was a single by Colby Babb in the first inning. Parks earned the win for East View. He tossed seven innings, giving up zero runs, five hits, and striking out six. Boehm took the loss for Hutto. He went seven innings, surrendering two runs, five hits, striking out six, and walking one.

East View had five hits in the game. Mason Tyndall and Chad Williams each collected multiple hits The Patriots. Williams and Tyndall each managed two hits to lead East View.

Babb led Hutto with two hits in three at bats.
