Patriots Varsity Can’t Hold Up Against Rouse

East View had trouble keeping up with Rouse in a 7-2 loss on Tuesday.

Rouse scored six runs in the fifth inning. The big inning for Rouse came thanks to a double by Vasquez, a single by Tucker, a fielder’s choice by Hooper, a groundout by Garza, and a error.

Tucker earned the win for Rouse. He went six innings, surrendering one run, four hits, and striking out eight. Chase Cutler took the loss for East View. He pitched four innings, allowing five runs, five hits, striking out four, and walking one.

Dalton Westbrook and Parker Namken each drove in one run to lead East View.

Rouse collected eight hits. Vannoy, Glenn, and Vasquez each collected multiple hits for Rouse.
